I'm Micah Witham, a Minnesota wedding officiant with more than 20 years of experience helping couples create ceremonies that are personal, meaningful, funny, beautiful, spiritual, simple—or whatever feels most like you.

I've officiated weddings in churches, rural barns, historic Minnesota hotels, backyards, VFWs, bowling alley basements and just about everywhere else you can imagine. From intimate elopements to large celebrations, I work with couples throughout Minneapolis, St. Paul, the Twin Cities and beyond to create a ceremony that tells your story and reflects what you actually believe.

I don’t do cookie cutter ceremonies. This is your day and it should tell your story in your words. I’m just helping make that happen.

Here’s how it works:

  • Initial Consult - It begins with a conversation to determine if we’re a good fit and all parties want to work together. Book that appointment HERE.

  • Booking - If we’re all in agreement, I’ll send you a link to officially book me for your day. Your date is locked in by making a non-refundable deposit.

  • Meeting #1 - Upon booking, I’ll send you an invite to meet and start planning your day. We’ll use this first time to get to know each other and for me to learn about your love story and the kind of wedding day you’re hoping for. You’ll leave with some homework and some decisions to make about the ceremony.

  • Meeting #2 - We’ll meet once more before your ceremony to finalize the details and the order of service.

  • Rehearsal/Wedding day - There is the option to have me at your rehearsal and to run the rehearsal for an extra fee. If not, I will arrive an hour before the ceremony to connect with you and your fiance and the magic of love takes over and we get you two married!
